Susana is a Washington, DC, strategy consultant turned health coach. With more than 12 years experience in change management human resources and talent development, Susana is an expert in helping people and organizations implement change. Deeply passionate about holistic nutrition, 1:1 Health Coaching and preventive health, Susana works with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.
Previously, Susana led training at a boutique strategy consulting firm and served as a special advisor to the Chief Human Resources Officer of a 14,000+ government agency. As a wife and mother to two young daughters, Susana understands the struggle of juggling work and family while trying to ensure one’s own health.
Susana serves as an advisor to the United States Healthful Food Council, (USHFC) a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to fighting obesity, diabetes and other food-related diseases by increasing access to healthful, affordable and sustainable food and beverages.
A certified health coach through the Integrative Institute of Nutrition, Susana also holds an MBA from American University; a BA from the University of Florida, and she is a Certified Professional Facilitator through the International Association of Facilitators.
Leslie is a strategy and organizational development consultant, holistic health and lifestyle coach, mother and wife. For over 19 years Leslie has helped leaders creatively and collaboratively develop high-performing organizations and communities. Her approach is grounded in methodologies that use collaboration, facilitation, and mediation.
Leslie applies the same philosophy in business strategy as she does in health coaching: the belief that collaboration is key for creating unique and customized solutions for one's health, because one strategy or "diet" does not work for everyone.
Leslie has coached individuals and organizations across multiple industries including the federal, state and local governments, the Intelligence community, nonprofits, the private sector and in Canada, Europe and Asia. As a certified health and lifestyle coach, she believes in the healing power of whole foods and that nutrition and health directly impacts our ability to be our best whether that means moms, leaders or innovative and thriving organizations.
Leslie previously taught classes at The Johns Hopkins University in conflict, negotiation, mediation, and strategic planning. Leslie received her BS in Business Management from Virginia Tech, her MS in Organizational Development from The Johns Hopkins University, and her Integrated Nutrition and Health Coaching Certificate from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
